Which city are you staying in?

The city of Anna Maria occupies the north end, Holmes Beach the middle, and Bradenton Beach the south. Local restrictions can differ even when streets connect.

The vehicle matters as much as the road.

Beach Zoomies rents registered, insured low-speed vehicles, or LSVs. An ordinary golf cart is a different legal category.

LSVs generally use streets posted at 35 mph or less, subject to local restrictions. A low speed limit alone does not establish permission for every cart.

An island ride, from driveway to beach parking.

Plan car or other transportation for trips across the bridges. Beach Zoomies rentals stay on Anna Maria Island. Beach sand, sidewalks and pedestrian access paths are not driving routes.

Before you leave the driveway

• Every driver must be at least 21 and needs a valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance and their own signed waiver, approved by Beach Zoomies before driving.
• Allowing an unauthorized driver results in a $500 charge and may end the rental.
• Buckle every passenger into a designated seat.
• Check lights, signals, mirrors and the planned route.
• Keep the cart on the island. Park legally, then walk to the beach.
